3 Days Trekking Desert Morocco
After a musical night under the stars, you will have a good breakfast in nature under the sun. The team will accompany you during your trip in the desert; they will start loading the camels with all the equipment (tents, kitchen staff, mattresses, blankets, etc.). Then, we start our adventure in the desert to the famous Marabout Sidi Naji, a famous Marabout that lived long ago in the area. He was known for good things. There will be short pauses under a tamarisk shade to have some fresh fruit, such as oranges and dates.
The caravan continues to have lunch under the tamarisk's shade. The lunch usually includes Moroccan Salad and other dishes that freshen your mind and keep you energetic for the next walk. During that period, you will experience the traditional tea, which is made on charcoal just as nomads used to. It is the authentic nomadic lifestyle that the trekking trip is all about. Once we rest as much as possible, we will continue trekking towards Sidi Naji. We will reach our destination in the evening and have time to discover the famous Marabout. Then, we will set up our camp for the night before the sunset.
After dinner, a musical evening will be around the campfire, and it will be time to exchange stories.
Today, After a delicious breakfast served on the dune. We fold the mobile camp and load the camels. Then, we will say goodbye to Sidi Naji and move happily towards the next destination. Following the same trekking method, we will walk for some hours until lunchtime. Along the way, our team will share with you how Nomads used to live in the desert, which is always surprising in terms of beauty that attracts everyone. Once we stop for lunch, the team will collect wood for the fire to brew natural tea and satisfyingly prepare lunch so you will get the best feeling and experience of the nomadic life. We will give you cups of tea that lead to beautiful emotions and amazing tastes.
The cook is eager to prepare the best nomadic food for our guests. There will always be moments of entertainment. We will head towards Douib in the afternoon, which is noted for its lovely landscapes and fantastic atmosphere. In the evening, you will enjoy climbing the desert dunes and enjoy the sunset on the top of the dunes. We will make the mobile camp for the night as usual. You will gaze at the stars and feel the tranquillity of the desert. We will ideally make your dinner. You will also experience a special sandbread in the heart of the desert. After a fantastic sunrise in Douib Dunes, we will fold the camp. It is time to say goodbye to that place after breakfast. The caravan heads to our desert camp, where you will have lunch and spend the night. It will be the opportunity to enjoy a warm shower.
